Montford Point Marines Excellence in Leadership AwardThe Montford Point Marines were the nation’s first African-Americans inducted into the United States Marine Corps during WWII. The Montford Point Marines of America, Inc. preserves the historic legacy of those who served and recognizes excellence in the service of veterans and minority-owned small businesses. At their 2018 National Annual Heritage Military Banquet & Awards Ceremony, the organization presented Adrienne Bennett with their Excellence in Leadership Award as Minority Women Business of the Year.
AGC of Michigan Outstanding Safety Performance AwardAt the Associated General Contractors of Michigan 2018 Annual Meeting, Benkari was a recipient of the Michigan Outstanding Safety Performance Award.
Winners of the chapter safety awards are determined by comparing the injury incident rate of each company. The injury incident rate is based on the number of injury cases a firm experiences during the award year, as it relates to the total amount of work hours generated. |
